about lindsae raineau

As a certified Holistic Health Coach, Lindsae has found the best day job ever in working with women who long to live an extraordinary life. It is her desire for women to take up more space, make more noise and learn to love the bodies they live in. Through her own journey, Lindsae has discovered there is great beauty in the vulnerability required to live the life you really want. Her life’s work has become helping other women uncover their truth by pausing to listen to that voice that whispers and sometimes screams “I want more”.

Through nutritional tweaks, infusion of movement and clarity on core desires, Lindsae works closely with clients to create a body and life they love. Lindsae has been working in the wellness industry for over 10 years and draws from expertise in the practice of yoga, detoxification and cleansing, living foods, food and mood connection, gluten free lifestyle & aeroponic organic farming.

In February of 2013, Lindsae took her passion for organic foods in an interesting direction when she moved to Costa Rica for a year, to develop RebelEarth Urban Farms, an aeorponic urban farming business which began on the rooftop of a Sheraton Hotel in Escazu, Costa Rica.

Lindsae is a mother to two spirited little girls who have taught her more lessons about life and have encouraged more growth than any book, workshop or school ever could. She practices and teaches yoga to stay sane, grounded and connected. She is often happiest floating in the salt water somewhere, dancing like no one’s watching, writing and reading, improvising in the kitchen, growing things, and practicing being ok with just BEING.

Lindsae lives with her two daughters, Chloe and Lilly and their cat, Sadie, in Mystic, CT.

My Approach as a Transformation Coach

My Philosophy is this:

Taking a good look at how you care for yourself and making adjustments with the support of someone else, is a profound commitment and it will change your life. The majority of us need to eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Period. I do not promote one specific philosophy or belief system around food. Every body is biogenetically different and has different needs.

Food is foundational for health. Food is intimate. It passes your lips and moves efficiently through you, touching some of your most delicate parts.  What you eat builds every cell in your body.  Is what you’re eating building you up or breaking you down? Food also greatly shapes your thoughts and emotions by impacting brain chemistry and hormones. How you choose to nourish yourself impacts every part of you! Change how you eat and the rest of your life will change.

Together, we will determine what foods, movement and self care practices create vitality and happiness in your body. Caring for yourself is a continuous commitment to exploring how you feel from moment to moment. Knowing what works for YOU is a process and a practice.

We will use the following as our roadmap:

  •  Bioindividuality ~ there is no one diet that works for everyone
  • Blood Type Diet ~ Our genetic makeup and ancestry determine which foods work with our bodies

  • Primary Food ~ Nourishment is more than what is on your plate. The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I trained as a health coach, describes primary food like this, “Healthy relationships, regular physical activity, a fulfilling career and a spiritual practice can fill your soul and satisfy your hunger for life. When primary food is balanced and satiating, your life feeds you, making what you eat secondary”

  • Loading Effect ~ First you must lay the foundation and then build upon it for long term change to happen. What you do today will set you up for success, strength and clarity tomorrow.

  • Accountability ~ We will look at how we self sabotage as humans. What role does the ego play in staying nice and comfy instead of going out and taking risks? Being fully alive requires moving through fear.

  • Self Love ~ One of my favorite poets Nayyirah Waheed wrote, “ ‘I love myself.’ The quietest. Simplest. Most powerful. Revolution. Ever.”.  Self love radiates love out to all other areas of life. Happiness begins with you.

I would love to connect with you...
